Outbrain is a leading recommendation platform for the open web. Our technology enables one-third of the world’s online consumers to discover new things through recommendation feeds on their favorite media and connects advertisers to these audiences to grow their business.

Outbrain is seeking a results-driven Video Product Marketing Director. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and driving the go to market strategy for Outbrain’s supply and demand-side video and CTV business. You will be the internal expert on Outbrain’s digital video and CTV advertising and media partner monetization products. You will also be closely in touch with industry advancements and regulations, driving Outbrain towards excellence with deep competitive knowledge and analysis.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of and experience working with both digital marketers as well as digital media partners – understanding the individual persona needs and interrelationships of both demand and supply as it relates to the video advertising industry.

As the Video Product Marketing Director you will work closely with senior stakeholders and management. You will also work closely with Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Marketing and Product Management teams to create positioning, messaging and run the GTM & sales enablement processes for new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and lead GTM strategy for overall video efforts for Outbrain
– Establish and socialize product messaging and positioning of supply and demand-side video and CTV products
– Leadership of multiple video GTM tracks including supply-side and demand-side activities for Outbrain + vi products
– Set KPIs for GTM and manage against goals
– Communication and collaboration with senior stakeholders and leadership
– Provide market research and competitive analysis for video and CTV advertising landscape
– Collaborate with business leadership on commercial guidelines
– Lead and effectively execute product launches in collaboration with global marketing

Experience and qualifications:

– 5-7 years of Product Marketing or Communications experience, minimum
– Strategic thinker who is also results-oriented and can deliver high-value at a tactical level
– Experienced at working in global organization across various time zones and with multiple stakeholders
– Work effectively within a matrixed organization with a variety of stakeholders and product teams
– Skilled communicator able to articulate complex ideas and business issues verbally and in writing
– Superior writing, presentation, and project management skills
– Natural leadership abilities with willingness to jump into complex situations
– Strong analytic capabilities, both quantitative and qualitative; data-driven with an ability to use data points to define and track success of product launches
– Ability to effectively identify and summarize key messaging points for complex products
– Time management skills, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
– Enthusiasm and thirst for industry knowledge and working in a fast paced and evolving area
– Strong stakeholder management and cross-group collaboration skills
– Previous experience of running and delivering successful GTM’s of new products/features
– Knowledge of digital video and CTV advertising a plus
